Respect for animals.
Accountability to people.
Animal Love Society is an animal law clinic. Our purpose connects legal protection, access to care and public understanding.
Make the work understandable
Our reporting explains the issue, the available evidence and why it matters for animals. Legal developments, proposals and our own commentary are identified separately. Articles link their sources and show their dates.
Explore the reporting →Make support meaningful
Our priorities are lawful accountability for cruelty, guidance on animal-related issues, public education and support for avian veterinary care. We want people to understand the purpose of an appeal and how support will be used.
Make giving clear
Donation appeals will be accompanied by information about the recipient organization, intended use of funds, payment and gift terms, and reporting. Published accomplishments will be distinguished from objectives. Registration and tax-receipt statements will reflect verified status.
Respect readers and animals
Our learning activities are available without an account. Published outcomes will be supported by dated, verifiable information. We use authentic, attributed photographs when photographs are included; our bird character and logo are illustrations.
Keep the record accountable
Our directors are Kelly Newby, Lucy Sendwicz and Jonathan Fernandes. Corrections can be raised through the contact page, and substantive article corrections will be dated.
